Homework for lesson one includes: completing your six questions for passage 2 or 3, preparing the presentation, and composing five vocabulary sentences. Please remember that we will also take a quiz on the CGT section 1 words. IF you do not receive an 80% or better on this quiz you must retake it.

We did not complete the podcast, but feel free to listen and try to answer the remaining questions by following the link here. We also covered the rules regarding when to use the present or past participle following a linking verb. You can find a link to some online exercises to practice this here.
Homework includes revisions to returned essays, the expository essay, and to study for the vocabulary quiz on words from last week. You can find a link to the words that will be on the quiz here.
If you missed class and did not give a presentation on Thursday, you must do so next week. This is a 200 point project per student. Failing to give a presentation will significantly harm your final grade.
